Pergularia daemia, popularly known as Veliparuthi, Utaran, Uthran, and Uthrani, is a fast-growing perennial climber admired for its soft green foliage, twining stems, and attractive star-shaped flowers. Its vigorous climbing nature makes it an excellent choice for herbal gardens, pergolas, fences, trellises, and boundary landscapes where natural green coverage is desired.

The vine grows gracefully over support structures, creating a lush vertical display while blending beautifully with ornamental and native garden plants. Its adaptability to tropical climates and low-maintenance nature make it suitable for home gardeners, educational institutions, and botanical collections. At medicinallive.com, every Veliparuthi plant is carefully nursery-grown to ensure healthy roots and vigorous growth after planting.

Plant the climber near a sturdy support such as a fence, trellis, or pergola in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the initial establishment period and maintain moderate soil moisture without allowing waterlogging. Apply organic compost every few months and trim excessive growth occasionally to encourage healthy branching and a neat climbing habit.
